This document provides step-by-step instructions to reset your Dojo A90 terminal in case of technical issues such as freezing, connection errors, or unresponsiveness.


When to Reset: #

  • The terminal is frozen or not responding
  • You are experiencing connection or software issues
  • You are advised to reset the terminal by Dojo Support

Important Notes Before You Start: #

  • Do not perform a reset during a live transaction
  • Ensure the terminal is plugged in or has enough battery
  • A soft reset will not delete any transaction data

Method 1: Soft Reset (Recommended) #

  1. Press and hold the power button on the right-hand side of the terminal
  2. Keep holding for approximately 10 seconds
  3. The screen will go black and the terminal will restart automatically
  4. Wait for the terminal to fully boot and reconnect to the network

This method resolves most common issues without affecting settings.


Method 2: Factory Reset (Use Only If Instructed) #

Note: Performing a factory reset will erase all settings and configurations. Only use this method if instructed by Dojo technical support.

  1. From the terminal home screen, tap the Menu button
  2. Navigate to Settings > Device Settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Factory Reset
  4. Confirm the reset when prompted
  5. The device will restart and return to its original factory state
